Microsoft Exchange 2010 on Dell Systems: Simple Distributed Configurations

This reference architecture utilizes the Multi-role server and storage ―bricks‖ with internal storage. It

has been sized to provide mailbox sizes of up to 1.5GB each. The Mailbox IO profile is sized for up to

150 messages per mailbox per day with 20% IO headroom to accommodate up to 0.18 IOPs per mailbox.

This solution delivers high availability using Exchange 2010 mailbox resiliency with a three copy

Database Availability Group (DAG). One active copy and two passive copies reside on the same site.
