Configuring the EqualLogic storage

This section provides an overview of the EqualLogic configuration

process on the Dell PowerEdge R610. We include approximate wait

times for each step. (Appendix C

provides complete, detailed

installation instructions.)

1. Connect the EqualLogic PS5000 arrays and

PowerEdge R610 to the gigabit switch.

2. Download and install the EqualLogic Host

Integration Tools. The installer will automatically

launch the Remote Setup Wizard when it

completes the installation (see Figure 12).
