In Figure 13 below, you can see that the NSX bits have been installed into the compute and edge clusters

and VXLAN has been enabled. However, the management cluster which hosts the vCenter Virtual

Appliance, DNS, NSX Manager, and NSX Controllers does not have the NSX bits installed or VXLAN enabled

as it is not required. No logical network components need to connect to anything within the management

cluster.
