40 | Using the keyboard

Icon Item Description

Screen lock Turn off the screen and lock your tablet.

NOTE: To unlock the tablet, press any

key on the keyboard or press the power

button on your tablet. For information on

unlocking the tablet, see “Unlocking your

tablet”.

Home Return to the Home screen.

NOTE: The left/right/up/down keys allow you to navigate

through the Android Home screens, and select an app or app

folders within each Home screen.

NOTE: If you type any alphanumeric keys on the Home screen,

Google Search app opens and the text typed is entered in the

Google search field.
