To enable disk management through remote MMC, run the following
commands on the Server Core machine:

Cannot Map a Drive From Server Core to Another System From an
Account Different Than That Used to Login to the Server Core System

If you attempt to map a drive to a remote server from a system that runs on
the Server Core version of the Windows Server 2008 SP2, using the command
net use with an administrator account name and password that is different
from that of the account used to log in to the Server Core box, then Access
Denied and Incorrect Password alert messages are displayed.
As a workaround, perform the following steps:

Set the following DWORD value to

in the Windows Registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Po
