Sponsored Guest Access
The following figure shows the process of sponsored guest access. See Figure 24.

The operator creates the guest accounts and generates a receipt for the account.
The guest logs on to the Network Access Server (NAS) using the credentials provided on her receipt. The
NAS authenticates and authorizes the guest’s login in ClearPass Guest. Once authorized, the guest is able to
access the network.
Self Provisioned Guest Access
Self-provisioned access is similar to sponsored guest access, but there is no need for an operator to create
the account or to print the receipt. See Figure 25.
