
Resolving Path Failures during Multipathing Scans
If a path fails while multipathd is scanning the path UID, then multipathd won't recognize that
path until it is rescanned explicitly. To verify whether
multipathd failed to add one or more paths,
run the following command:
# echo show paths | multipathd -k | grep faulty
388:0:0:10 sdlt 68:432 1 undef faulty running orphan
388:0:0:11 sdlu 68:448 1 undef faulty running orphan
You can also force
multipathd to reconsider faulty paths, as follows:
# echo reconfigure | multipathd -k
65
