Working with Rules
• ReportGeneratedEvent
Report generation creates system events. You can monitor these events and their
properties in order to trigger event-driven rules:
severityLevel
Integer
Contains a number that
identifies the severity level:
•
0: Undefined
•
1: Normal
•
2: Warning
•
3: Critical
•
4: Fatal
severityName
String
Contains one of the
following values that
identify the severity level:
Undefined, Normal,
Warning, Critical, or
Fatal.
sourceID
String
Contains the ID of the
source data object that
generates the event.
sourceName
String
Contains the name of the
source data object that
generates the event.
userDefinedData
DataObject
Contains a data object that
includes any additional
information about the
alarm. This data can be used
when creating event-related
dashboards. For more

dashboards, see the
vFoglight User Guide.
