Add Host Dialog

Host Name or IP This field contains the host name or IP address of the server used

to connect to the host. The icon adjacent to the field will

change to a icon when a valid value is entered in this field.

Port This is the SSH port on the host that will be used to

communicate with vReplicator. The default value in this field is

22. The field is enabled, so you can change this value.

User This field should contain the ID of the user who is currently

logged into vReplicator. The icon adjacent to the field will

change to a icon when a valid value is entered in this field.

Add user?

(checkmark button)

This field, selected by default, is adjacent to the User field.

Unless you clear this field, any ID entered in the User field will

be added to the database. If you do not want an SSH user created

with the credentials that you provided, it is best to clear this

field.

User Password In this field, enter the password that corresponds to the ID listed

in the User field.

Root Password Root user access to the host server is required to perform a

replication. To gain root access to the host, vReplicator connects

using another ID and then performs a switch user to the root

account.
