Description

To allow the RAC and SEL logs to be written to up to three remote syslog servers Enables or disables

remote syslog.

Legal Values

• 1 (TRUE)

• 0 (FALSE)

cfgRhostsSyslogPort (Read or Write)

Description Remote syslog port number to use for writing the RAC and SEL logs to a remote syslog server.

For CMC, this setting takes effect only if the cfgRhostsSyslogEnable parameter is set to

1(enabled).

Legal Values

10–65535

NOTE: For CMC, the following port numbers are reserved and cannot be used: 21, 68, 69, 123,

161, 546, 801, 4096, 5988, 5989, 6900, 9000, 60106.

To store the RAC and SEL logs specify the first of three possible remote syslog servers. This property

is only valid if cfgRhostsSyslogEnable is set to 1 (enabled).

• For CMC: Valid host name or IPv4 or IPv6 address.
